What We believe

North Grace Baptist Church preaches, teaches and practices the landmark views that historical Baptists have followed through the ages. Namely, we believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Upon salvation, a true believe will follow the Lord into the waters of baptism. While baptism does not lead one to salvation, it is the evidence of ones desire to follow the Lord after repentance. We believe in the eternal security of the believer. Meaning, we believe that once a person has been truly saved, Christ indwells in the believer through the Holy Spirit, and does so till death. The evidence of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling is a life lived for Christ by faith, and by God’s grace. Discipleship is of major importance. Therefore, Communion (the Lord’s Supper) should be a mainstay in the life of any believer. When North Grace gathers as a church for Communion, we do so as a family, recognizing the blood and body of Christ. We believe that Christ will return soon for His Bride in the rapture. For this reason, we believe that the church exists to create for Christ a pure and holy Bride. This happens only by His grace alone.
